If you're like us, it's hard to believe that we're on the tail end of 2015. Only 7 Mondays stand in between you and Christmas, yesterday we collectively freaked at how dark it was by 6:00pm, and we're trying to figure out what the weather is doing.
New month, new week, new updates. Let's get into it!
POINTAPP.ORG is getting a facelift
The only constant is change, as they say, and as we expect that with the growth of our app, we also apply it to our website! Within the next week, you'll be seeing a transformed pointapp.org and we're very excited to share it with you! Please feel free to share the new look with friends as we welcome you to the new design.
Did I forget to mention...?
New site, new deets. That's right, you'll be getting more of a sneak peek of POINT app! THIS IS NOT A DRILL. We've let you know about wireframes, design efforts and meeting after meeting centered around making POINT the social media for charity that it should be, and a visit to our site will let you know how that's coming along! Keep calm, POINT on.
Any guest bloggers out there?
POINT is about voices. On the app, those voices will include yours, the causes and organizations you care about, and businesses speaking up for their community and how you can get involved. The POINT Blog is much of the same, and is ready for some guest bloggers!
If you're passionate about world needs, serving your community, have an awesome idea you want to spread or want to write about recent world needs news, our team would love to see your byline here. Email firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can reach me directly at email@example.com.
Fancy meeting you here
Meetings! For as many independent self-starter types that make up the POINT team, it's really important to keep up with one another, the big picture and upcoming events during our weekly, bi-weekly and monthly meetings. This week our development and rep teams will be meeting, as well as our entire team at the monthly HQ meeting on Sunday, November 8th. As always, you can join the shenanigans on snapchat @pointapp.
Do something today your future self will thank you for,
